Many destructive phenomena in
today's political, economic and cultural environment in the US and Western
Europe are caused by, or have their roots in, “Cultural Marxism”.
Among the many are Mass
Immigration, Political Correctness, Identity Politics, Aggression against
Political Opponents, and yes, ANTIFA. The goal of Cultural Marxism is world
domination through undermining the values expressed by principal institutions —
such as family, religion, traditional sexual roles, and shared heritage and
history — of the peoples it seeks to control. So it is
critically important to understand Cultural Marxism.
Practices which weaken or destroy
fundamental cultural values impair the sustainability of a nation—as the
eminent Garrett Hardin asserted in his classic 1986 essay ‘Cultural Carrying
Capacity’—just as overuse of not-easily replaceable resources is a violation of
long-term ecological carrying capacity. Among values essential to the
sustainability of the United States are, for example, Freedom of Speech, Rule
of Law, and Respect for a shared Heritage and English Language—all basic to
social cohesion, national unity and national preservation.
But increasingly in the second
half of the twentieth century, and more so into the 21st, the social movement
known as Cultural Marxism began to destructively transform the USA and the
European-derived Nations themselves.
Cultural Marxism works through
Indoctrination, at times almost subliminal, so that it remains unrecognized by
the indoctrinated. Did the leaders of the People for the Ethical
Treatment of animals know that their recent statement that “Drinking milk is
Racist and a symbol of White Supremacy” is a reflection of the Culturally
Marxist Agenda?
Indeed, Carrying Capacity Network
was right to warn Americans in its February, 2010 posting of Military Historian
William Lind’s superb article (this article is available at CarryingCapacity.org, as the February 2010
post in the Alerts section) about the threat of Cultural Marxism.
Unfortunately, the threat is increasingly being realized in a multitude of ways
and is not random but purposeful.
Leading self-identified Cultural
Marxists have stated that the destruction of western civilization, western
nations, and Christianity are among their goals. But not real destruction;
simply a transfer of the property, wealth, and power of the
founding stock of western nations to the Cultural Marxists—a blatantly economic
and political goal.
Simple observation shows the
extent to which Cultural Marxism's push for politically correct speech,
multiculturalism, multilingualism, mass immigration, enhanced rights for
certain categories of citizens, and ‘globalism’ (as opposed to internationalism)
threaten western culture and the sovereignty of western nations. A case in
point is the blurring of gender categories including the feminization of young
American men.
Feminization can be seen most
recently in a Brown University course offering. “Masculinity
101” is a course on “unlearning toxic masculinity”, where
“those socialized as men” are helped “to unlearn” their supposedly “naturally
violent” tendencies.
The increasing success
of Cultural Marxism springs in large part from patiently and insidiously infiltrating
and indoctrinating with the aim of operationalizing, Lenin’s injunction: “The
best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.” Brown's
revolutionary course offering was not sprung on a resisting student body but follows
decades of persuading men and women that women prefer men who are “sensitive”.
The asserted female preference for
“sensitive” men is the result of brainwashing aimed at conditioning generations
of women to think of themselves as victims. For anyone, particularly a man, to
say otherwise would be politically incorrect. The Self-censorship of
speech encouraged by the Cultural Marxists is common and extends even to
limitation of free thought.
Americans at most educational
levels have been conditioned not to utter, or even think, politically Incorrect
thoughts for fear of being ostracized by their similarly conditioned peer
groups. And Cultural Marxists, via their dominance in the Mainstream
Media, define what is deemed politically incorrect.
For example, distortion of
scientific observation and jettisoning of the null hypothesis, the
traditional guardian of objectivity, are manifested in mandatory belief in
anthropogenic global warming. “Denialist” has taken its place beside the more
common “racist” and “anti-Semite” labels that ostracize the
non-conformist. Denialists take on the aura of evil.
One of the Cultural
Marxists’ most effective techniques is splitting Western Nations into
competing, minority, social, cultural and interest groups. Playing
these groups off against one another results in more Power for the Globalist
Cultural Marxists. Continuing Mass Immigration and Identity Politics are
effective Cultural Marxist Techniques for executing this Strategy.
Generally, these Marxists promote
[and try to guide] any cause which is anti-nationalist and pro-globalist, e.g.,
through Trade Deals like NAFTA and TPP. Unwitting, though sincere,
environmentalists have also been exploited in this way in recent years, being
encouraged to push for Globalist solutions
to environmental problems, a
nearly impossible task, since the world's population increases by about 80
million per year, and those 80 million plus the 7.7 Billion already living,
commandeer what resources they can to survive.
Regarding Cultural Marxist
tactics, consider for example, the impact of the de facto Activist Handbook for
the Cultural Marxists, Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals via
the following observations from Rense.com:
“Alinsky scolded the
Sixties Left for scaring off potential converts in Middle America. True
revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their
hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within.
“Alinsky viewed
revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing
institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.
“Alinsky’s crowning
achievement was his recruitment of a young high school student named Hillary
Rodham. She met Alinsky through a radical church group. Hillary wrote an
analysis of Alinsky’s methods for her senior thesis at Wellesley College. They
remained friends until Alinsky’s death in 1972.
“Many leftists view
Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues.
However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever
it takes to gain power.
“Barack Obama is also
an Alinskyite. Trained by Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation, Obama spent
years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year
stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group
called the Developing Communities Project. Later, he worked with ACORN and its
offshoot Project Vote, both creations of the Alinsky network.

Indeed, Alinsky’s Counsel is not
merely to “Say and Do whatever it takes to gain power,” but also to “Tell any
Lie and Repeat it often enough until it is believed.”
The following excerpts are a shrewd
observer's analysis of Cultural Marxism. It demonstrates how well-intentioned
Policies or Movements can be used or transformed to achieve
the Cultural Marxists’ goals:
“‘Cultural Marxism’ ...
employs Political Correctness, a concoction of many intimidating tools such as
Affirmative Action (punishing achievers/discrediting merit/rewarding
under-achievers); Feminism (emasculating the masses and especially White
Males); Multiculturalism/Diversity Worship …; Social Justice (reducing all to
the lowest common denominator using forced redistribution of wealth);
Racism/Bigotry Accusations (setting some … free from consequences &
inducing guilt in others to the point that rape, mayhem, robbery, even murder …
are ignored or deemphasized, while the death of a … criminal is treated as a
national sin); Entitlement Mentality (have-nots are victims of the haves); Open
Borders (facilitating foreign invasions of hostile, non-acculturated horde…)Throw
in ... [Various Rights] movements. Results=the death of common sense, logic,
excellence, civility, rule of law, justice, i.e., the Death of Western culture,
language, national sovereignty.
“The Death of the
West’s individualism could not be achieved with bullets (via Bolshevik
Revolutions—Ed.) so the clever Collectivist ... Cultural Marxists devised a
system of psychological warfare which was implemented (via ‘The Frankfurt
School’) by their ‘march through the institutions’ … i.e., infiltration into
the influential societal institutions such as education & politics ... via ...
U.S. media & most entertainment, molding thought, language, social mores
& values. Their principal tools are Political Correctness (see above) &
Critical Theory (including ‘Deconstructionism’ in Political Science,
Philosophy, Literature and other Academic Departments and Groups—ed.) soundly
criticizing all Western values, e.g., the male as head of household
(‘oppressive authoritarian’), achievement as something unfair to ‘others’,
rugged individualism is vilified since everyone can’t honestly gain the same
level of comforts as the achievers, [one] skin color automatically branded as
racist or privileged & [another] skin color painted as victims who deserve
… largesse.
“Diversity (as opposed
to assimilation -Ed) is touted as a supreme virtue, especially by the education
cabal.
“Long term thinking
about logical consequences of such societal behavior is smugly ignored while
history is revised to suit a collective ideology, as well as standards &
expectations. A cursory look at the history of Collectivism (Communism,
Socialism, Monarchy, Dictatorship, the new term Progressivism, etc.) reveals an
endless array of dead bodies, ruined lives, and destruction of industries,
homes, farms, towns, cities, by the untold millions and, as always, it’s the
smallest minority in the world affected…the individual.
“Most of the world’s
destruction has been by the use of sword & bullets, now we face an even
more deadly enemy—the psychological warfare tactic that renders its victims
mentally defenseless & accepting of a horrific sense of guilt based…on
their skin color—... When a people can be disarmed & made instrumental in
their own demise without combat, that people is surely doomed.
“On a local front,
every town has a certain number of opportunists who latch on to the Collectivist
programs—HUD, NGO’s, MPO’s, numerous welfare programs (homeless, food, medical,
etc.), understanding there is big money to be had from Government Grants &
Funding, ...”

... One of the Cultural Marxists’
major power and resource acquisition techniques may appropriately be
characterized as Guilt Inculcation. This is manifested in the
increasingly widespread use of the Terms “White Privilege”, “White Racism, and “White
Guilt.”
For example, The City of Seattle
is now offering a course in “White Fragility” aimed at “improving Caucasians’
low emotional tolerance for discussing Racism” and to help whites “tolerate
racial stress”....All for only $60! and taught by a Ph.D yet! Similarly, SUNY
Binghampton offers a course entitled, “Stop White People.” claiming that
participants will acquire “the tools to do so” when encountering adverse
arguments.
Another institutional target of
the Cultural Marxists is the traditional family and traditional gender roles,
all for the same purpose of fragmenting any potential opposition to the Goals
of the Cultural Marxists. Indeed, one can argue that Globalist and
Regionalist Institutions like the IMF/EU and complicit Central Banks like the
private for-profit Federal Reserve are, wittingly or unwittingly, Allies of the
Cultural Marxists.
Finally, and Importantly, Cultural
Marxism tolerates no Counter-Arguments because a counter-argument might “Trigger”
PTSD in the Listener or invade a Listener’s “Safe Space.” Thus, it labels
nearly all opposing arguments as “Hate Speech.”
Unfortunately, the Cultural
Marxists continue to gain power in the Media, Culture, Politics and Western
Nations, in general.

“Another name for the
neo-Marxism of increasing popularity in the United States is cultural Marxism. This theory says that the driving force behind the
socialist revolution is not the proletariat — but the intellectuals. While
Marxism has largely disappeared from the workers' movement, Marxist
theory flourishes today in cultural institutions, in the academic world, and in
the mass media. This “cultural Marxism” goes back to Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) and the Frankfurt School. The theorists of Marxism recognized that the proletariat
would not play the expected historical role as a ‘revolutionary subject.’
Therefore, for the revolution to happen, the movement must depend on the
cultural leaders to destroy the existing, mainly Christian, culture and
morality and then drive the disoriented masses to Communism as their new creed.
The goal of this movement is to establish a world government in which the
Marxist intellectuals have the final say. In this sense, the cultural Marxists
are the continuation of what started with the Russian revolution.
Lenin and the Soviets
“Led by Lenin,
the perpetrators of the revolution regarded their victory in Russia only as the
first step to the world revolution. The Russian Revolution [6] was neither Russian nor proletarian. In 1917, the
industrial workers in Russia represented only a small part of the workforce,
which mainly consisted of peasantry. The Russian Revolution was not the result
of a labor movement but of a group of professional revolutionaries….
“The experience of
World War I and its aftermath showed that the Marxist concept of the ‘proletariat’
as a revolutionary force was an illusion. At the example of the Soviet Union,
one could also see that socialism could not function without a dictatorship.
These considerations brought the leading Marxist thinkers to the conclusion
that a different strategy would be required to establish socialism. Communist
authors spread the insight that the socialist dictatorship must come in
disguise. Before socialism can succeed, the existing culture must change.
Control of the culture must precede political control.
Cultural Control Rises
in Tandem with Political Control
“Helping the
neo-Marxists was the fact many of their efforts in taking control of culture
happened parallel to the encroachment of the state on individual liberties.
Over the past decades, at the same time when so-called political correctness
has been on the rise, the American government obtained a vast arsenal of
repressive instruments....
Moral Corruption
“The way toward the
rule of the cultural Marxists is the moral corruption of the people. To

confuse and mislead. The media and the educational establishment work to put
one part of the society against the other part. While group identities get more
specific, the catalog of victimization and history of oppression becomes more
detailed. To turn into a recognized victim of suppression is the way to gain

social inclusion.
“The demand for social
justice creates an endless stream of expenditures deemed essential — for
health, education, old age, and for all those people who are “needy,” “persecuted”
and “oppressed,” be it real or imaginary. The flood of never-ending spending in
these areas corrupts the state finances and produces fiscal crises. This helps
the Neo-Marxists accuse “capitalism” of all evils when, in fact, it is the
regulatory state that provokes the systemic failures and when it is the excess
of public debt that causes the financial fragility.
“Politics, the media,
and the judiciary never pause at waging the new endless wars: ... The list of
the enemies grows every day whether racism, xenophobia, and anti-Islamism. The
epitome of this movement is political correctness, the war against having one's
own opinion. While the public tolerates disgusting expositions of behavior,
particularly under the cult of the arts, the list of prohibited words and
opinions grows daily. Public opinion must not go beyond the few accepted
positions. Yet while the public debate impoverishes, the diversity of radical
opinion flourishes in the hidden.
“... The aim is … the “dictatorship
of political correctness” whose supreme authority lies in the hands of the
cultural Marxists. As a new class of priests, the guardians of the new
orthodoxy rule the institutions whose power they try to extend over all parts
of the society. The moral destruction of the individual is a necessary step to
accomplish the final victory.
Opium of the
Intellectuals
“The believers of neo-Marxism
are mainly intellectuals ... up to the writers and artists (and controlled
Media -Ed) to conceal the brutality of the socialist regimes through articles
and books and by films, music, and paintings, and to give socialism a
scientific-intellectual, aesthetic and moral appearance. In the socialist
propaganda, the new system appears to be both fair and productive.
“The cultural Marxists
believe that someday they will be the sole holders of power and be able to
dictate to the masses how to live and what to think….
Conclusion
“Contrary to what Marx
believed, history is not pre-determined. The march through the institutions has
gone far ..., the ideology of cultural Marxism is the main source of the
profound confusion that has grabbed almost every segment of the modern Western
societies and which is about to swell into even more dangerous proportions.”
... but it is not too late to
successfully counter it ...
J. Kirkpatrick, writing at
vDare.com recommends three tactics to defeat the Cultural Marxists
“Because the Left’s
coalition really is vulnerable, there are three key rules patriots (or anyone
else under Cultural Marxist attack) should follow.
These include:
· Expose the bad faith
of attackers
These CultMarx
lynchings are now so common that only those deep into the SJW cult can take
them solely at face value. Just as Brett Kavanaugh did, the accused should
always point out that these charges are being raised for political purposes,
not moral reasons. Simply dismissing attacks as “Political Correctness” works,
as President Trump’s dismissal of Megyn Kelly in the
first Republican debate showed.
· Frame your actions
as equivalent to those Leftists already support
· Never Disavow
Without Demanding A Disavowal From The Other Side
A final point: always
seek to exploit the natural cleavages in the Leftist coalition.
Since the rise of
Trump, patriots have become more inured to Leftist rhetorical attacks. But
Leftist control of the media, Internet platforms and fundraising capabilities
means they can still impose fearsome economic costs.
Nevertheless, morally
and socially, the costs seem less terrifying than they used to. Many
Republicans simply don’t believe anything the MSM says anymore and so
even the most outrageous charges are dismissed. Therefore, any patriot under
attack should not disavow anyone, no matter how extreme, without
demanding a countervailing disavowal from progressives.
Don’t disavow “white
nationalists” without demanding that Democrats disavow antifa. If there is to
be an investigation into Russian hacking, there should be an investigation into
Chinese spying enabled by Dianne Feinstein. No patriot should ever make a
concession without a concession from the opposite side.
Remember, while
patriots will shrug
off a disavowal as “doing what you have to do,”
But Leftists will be enraged and start attacking each other and making wild
charges.
“Even the most
milquetoast Republicans must understand after the Kavanaugh Konfrontation that
politics is war by other means. There is no longer any “common ground” that
patriots share with the journalists and Cultural Marxists, who openly declaring
their intention to destroy them.
“But by following
these three rules, patriots will finally be able to get back on the attack—and
stop losing their country in slow motion.”

year the pressure to emigrate to the USA will only intensify, especially if
encouraged by the USA's current pro-Mass Immigration policies. In sum enactment
of this groups position would result in unending U.S. population growth.
2) And in any
event pushing that position is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE because in any
Negotiation one should never start with the position where one wants to end up
,and
3) And perhaps MOST
IMPORTANT.... COUNTERPRODUCTIVE because it explicitly sanctions unending
Mass Immigration, and indeed legitimizes it!! Thus this and similar groups
are Mass Immigration MANAGEMENT Groups NOT genuine Reduction groups
4) And
COUNTERPRODUCTIVE too because there is no rational for just those
numbers....why not 600,000 or 400,000
5) And
COUNTERPRODUCTIVE too because it fails to send the important message that in
order to attain Sustainability, we must STOP U. S. population growth.....
and the only way to effectively push for that is to push for a zero-Net
(150,000 immigrants and emigrants per year) MORATORIUM
6) Finally
consider whether the Management group/s positions reflect an attempt to be
Politically Correct, and if, in so doing they have become Culturally Marxist
